Reclaiming the value of your used oil is a great concept. But how does used oil technology work?
What you can put into your used oil storage tank for burning: used motor oils, brake fluid, gear lubricants, automatic transmission fluid, industrial oils and dirty diesel fuel.
Oil is vacuumed from the tank by the metering pump and run through the filter.
After being filtered, the oil goes to the pre-heater, which heats the oil to the optimal burning temperature of 160 degrees F.
After reaching the optimal temperature, the oil travels through the nozzle block and is ignited by the electrode as the combustion air travels through the patented flame retention head causing the flame to burn in an elongated, controlled fashion.
As this flame travels through the combustion chamber, it heats the stainless steel heat exchanger.
The squirrel cage blower pulls in cool air and forces the air over the heat exchanger, where it warms up. The heated air is then exhausted from the louver panels to the shop.
